Sheriff William D. “Bill” Bradford

Term: 1975-1976

Mr. Bradford was the son of William D. and May H. Huie Bradford and was born August 28, 1921 at Choctaw, Arkansas. He was married to Joyce Towery Bradford. He was a World War II Navy veteran and played professional baseball with the Kansas City Astros and San Francisco Seals. He also toured as a golf pro. After serving as sheriff, he was a justice of the peace. He died August 22, 2000 and is buried in the Eglantine Cemetery.
