Clinton man arrested on Drug Paraphernalia charge.

On February 7th, 2016, Deputies from the Van Buren County Sheriff's Office made contact with a vehicle parked in the roadway on State Highway 110 in the early morning hours. Deputies found a male subject slumped over into the passenger seat, asleep. After a several attempts to wake up the occupant of the vehicle, deputies where able to do so. After speaking with the subject identified as 25 year old Jaron Farrell of Clinton, deputies received permission from Farrell to search the vehicle. During the search deputies found a glass smoking device used to smoke illegal drugs in the vehicle. Farrell was arrested and charged with misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Farrell also has a probation hold from District Court. Farrell is currently incarcerated at the Van Buren County Detention Center awaiting a first appearance/
